Hot Pink Passion Infinity Scarf Crochet Pattern
Finished Measurements: 65” long by 8” wide
- 1, 150g skein Lion Brand Scarfie Yarn – Charcoal/Magenta was used in this example, or 150g of size 5 Bulky yarn of your choice
- 6.50mm (K/2) crochet hook
- Tapestry needle for assembly
Stitches (U.S. standard abbreviations and terms):
ch: chain sp: space
sl st: slip stitch tr: treble crochet
yo: yarn over tr v-stitch: treble v-stitch
To work a treble crochet stitch (tr), yo twice, insert hook in indicated space, yo, drawing through one loop, [yo, draw through two loops on hook] three times, one loop remaining on hook
To work a tr v-stitch, work (tr, ch1, tr) in indicated space
With 6.50mm crochet hook and yarn, ch 25, turn
Row 1: tr in 6th ch from hook (counts as first two tr), *[skip next ch, work tr v-stitch in next ch], repeat from * across to last 3 ch, skip next ch, tr in last tr and top of beginning ch3 from previous round, turn (8 tr v-stitches, and 2, 2tr groups)
Row 2: ch4 (counts as first tr), tr in next tr, skip next tr, work tr v-stitch in next ch1 sp, *[skip next two tr, work tr v-stitch in next ch1 space], repeat from * across to last three tr, skip next tr, tr in last tr and top of beginning ch3 from previous row, turn (8 v-stitches and 2, 2tr groups)
Row 3-30: Repeat row 2 until scarf measures 65” long, or desired length leaving a 20” tail for assembling scarf halves.
Finishing: Using a whip stitch and tapestry needle, assemble scarf halves together at top and bottom. Hand wash in mild detergent, rinse well and lay in desired shape to dry, using dressmaker pins to hold in place if desired
